One Staff's Journey from Facilitator to Supervisor

CCN works in close collaboration with our service providers in order to implement high-quality programming.  One of the Facilitators has been promoted within their organization to become a Supervisor within CCN programs!

Kristy Rodriguez has been a Facilitator with SGA Youth & Family Services since July 2018.  When asked about CCN’s programs and why she is committed to the work, she said,

Working as a Family Team Facilitator for the past 5 years has been a great pleasure of mine. The Wraparound model allows the team to remain goal-driven, focus on the amazing qualities of the youth and ensure we are meeting the youth’s unmet needs/goals. Most importantly, we are able to provide our youth with a safe place where they’re able to advocate for themselves, ask questions about their care plans, and express themselves without any judgment. Our youth have already been through so much trauma in their past, but thanks to the Wraparound Model, we are able to remind our youth that their past does not define them and that they too, can have a successful future.
— Kristy Rodriguez

Kristy will now be the Supervisor for SGA’s Will County Wraparound programs, including the Dually Involved Youth and High Fidelity Wraparound program.  She also works with families to ensure they are connected to necessary resources and services within the community.

We look forward to seeing Kristy continue to grow and use her knowledge and expertise to guide and support Facilitators.
