Program Expansion leads to New Opportunities

As CCN’s High Fidelity Wraparound program expands to include additional counties, that also means new roles for staff that work with our provider organizations. Due to One Hope United’s expansion within this program, they restructured their team and promoted two internal staff members.

Ajhera Martin is now the Senior Supervisor for Wraparound.  Ajhera will oversee Erica (see below) as well as the High Fidelity Wraparound program in the collar counties of DuPage and Kane, as well as the Central Illinois counties of Champaign, Coles, Douglas, Moultrie, and Shelby.

Ajhera has been working with CCN programs since January 2019.  She has been at OHU since 2018, and before that a therapist at a residential facility in Illinois.  Ajhera has a Master of Arts in Counseling from Governor State University.

Ajhera likes that within the Wraparound programs, team members are brought together for monthly meetings to collaborate, with both formal and informal supports.

Erica Guzman is now the CCN Wraparound Supervisor.  Erica has been a Facilitator within the CCN Dually Involved Program since July 2018.  She has been at OHU since 2017.

Erica has a master’s degree in Social Work, with a concentration in Health and Well-Being from Dominican University.

She wants to help families and youth by being able to understand and empathize with the culture and oppression that they struggle with. It is important for her to create a safe space where her clients can process, heal, be heard, and reach for their goals.   Erica appreciates that the Wraparound model concentrates on increasing informal supports for youth.

The CCN Administrative team looks forward to continuing to work with Ajhera and Erica in their new and expanded roles!
